1. The most expensive Hot Wheels toy is the 1969 Pink Rear-Loading Beach Bomb. It has a price tag of 175,000 dollars. As a prototype, only two versions of this car were ever made, hence the high price.
2. In Formula 1, the most popular motorsport in the world, the brakes on the car can reach up to 1,000 degrees Celsius, which is as hot as molten lava! This is because the brakes work more efficiently when hotter.
3. The Rimac Nevera R, a high-performance electric hypercar, holds the world record for breaking the most world records in a single day. Because of its insane acceleration (a 0 – 60 mph of 1.66 seconds), it broke 24 world records on just July 25, 2025.
4. 50% of all cars sold in China annually are either electric or hybrid. China’s goal is to make electric cars the norm since China’s air pollution is increasing, which has destroyed crops.
5. A single car can contain up to 30,000 total parts, which varies from windshields to small nails. Even if a part breaks (like a small nail or washer), the car can still run mostly fine.
